Duties and Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating, executing, and overseeing work schedules for routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs of equipment and facilities

  • Ensuring all equipment, machinery, and systems are well-maintained and operating at maximum efficiency

  • Performing repairs on electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they meet required operational standards

  • Assessing building systems and planning work assignments and project schedules for upgrades, repairs, or improvements

  • Conducting routine facility inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate


Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the Pedros Maintenance Supervisor position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Matric certificate

  • Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Plumbing, General Maintenance, or a relevant Trade Test

  • Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in a logistics, industrial, or similar environment

  • Experience with electrical work (both light and heavy duty)

  • Experience with basic plumbing

  • Experience with general building and facility maintenance

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, equipment systems, and regulatory standards
