Pedros is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage all maintenance operations within its facilities. Duties and Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

Creating, executing, and overseeing work schedules for routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs of equipment and facilities
Ensuring all equipment, machinery, and systems are well-maintained and operating at maximum efficiency
Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all maintenance services, repairs, and inspections
Ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and safety protocols
Conducting regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify faults, risks, or maintenance needs
Planning and organising repair activities to minimise downtime and avoid disruption to operations
Managing inventory levels of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts to ensure availability at all times
Responding promptly and effectively to emergency situations such as equipment breakdowns, malfunctions, or safety hazards
Performing repairs on electrical appliances and equipment to ensure they meet required operational standards
Assessing building systems and planning work assignments and project schedules for upgrades, repairs, or improvements
Conducting routine facility inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the Pedros Maintenance Supervisor position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Matric certificate
Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Plumbing, General Maintenance, or a relevant Trade Test
Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in a logistics, industrial, or similar environment
Experience with electrical work (both light and heavy duty)
Experience with basic plumbing
Experience with general building and facility maintenance
Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, equipment systems, and regulatory standards
